All in a Day's Work

I took advantage of taking my non-convertible-to-cash vacation leave so I had Thursday and Friday off. On Thursday, I just bummed around the house doing koreanovela marathon. Yesterday (Friday), I had a very fruitful day though. Without any vehicle to use, I went to Better Living paranaque to book Blue Petals Catering for Terrence’s birthday. I got a modest package (P260/pax) and here is what we’re gonna have on his birthday.

We will also bring additional viands (Lumpiang Ubod and Chili Prawns). Blue Petal’s Jonalyn was very kind not to charge us any corkage fee for these viands. We have to pay for lechon corkage and 3 food warmers though but that is understandable. After booking Blue Petals, I went straight ahead to Divisoria. Aside from buying lots of stuff for Terrence’s birthday loot items, I had to buy some clothes since I am going to have a new job starting next week. I have actually set up an appointment with a reliable tailor but I decided to postpone it since I don’t think that I’ll be able to get the trousers in less than a week (By the way, these are the people who make the business suit of most of the expats in my former company. Really cheap, as in 60% cheaper compared to malls without compromising the quality). I bought 3 trousers, 1 lacey top and 1 windbreaker. I was looking for my suki korean shop in 168 but I just got disappointed. I couldn’t find it any where in the 2 buildings. Heck, I guess I have no other choice but to shop multiply again.

Now going back to the loot items, I saw Andings by accident. I was not really aiming to shop at this store thinking that I’ll have a hard time looking for it. I was heading to New Divisoria Mall (NDM) when I passed by NDCC building where Anding’s is located. I tried to look for Spongebob items but the shop only had a few so I still went to NDM. I saw lots of spongebob items in NDM. As I was really tired (asa ka pa, mag isa na ,commute pa eh!), I decided to just buy all of the spongebob items in one store. For less than 4k, I was able to get loot bag/items (40 kids) and games prizes as well as balloon decor materials. We’re having spongebob theme so lahat ng nasa lootbag eh spongebob din (coloring book w/ stickers P8 each, notebook @P6 each, coinbank @P8 each, glitter pens at P3each, erasers, pencils…ay basta ang daming mura.Surprisingly, maganda ang quality ng mga items na nakuha ko. I was expecting kasi na hindi kagandahan kasi nga divi lang. As for game prizes, I bought all of the items from Andings because it is way cheaper there compared to NDM. I purchased a lot of items (alsobought some balloons and other decoration items too) that I will really have a hard time if I am going to enumerate them all.

I got all of those items for less than 4k. Actually ang dami pang items that are not in the picture. Di na lang kasya sa bed. hehehehe.  I feel like as if I am a dead meat but with the savings I had, I can say that it was all worth it.
