Am I losing Weight?

Last Friday, I saw an old friend from Transcom somewhere in Megamall. She was quite surprised at how “thin” I look now compared to 2 years ago. She even asked me if I am using any weight loss pills Oh well, I can’t really blame her. The last time we saw each other, she I just had a childbirth delivery. Talk about the extra pounds I gained during the pregnancy period. It’s just now tha I am starting to lose weight. I hope I can still be 20 pounds lighter

One of my agents has just resigned. He actually finished BS Nursing and yet, he ended up being a call center agent. Now that he got a taste of what is like to live the life of a call center agent, I think he has given up. In short, he got burnt out. That is why he is now looking for some Marcus medical uniforms. I am not really sure what differene there is in this uniform versus the reguar medical scrubs but he is insistent on having one. Oh well, I wish our little boy a bunch of luck in this new endeavor.

Flower Power

I am not really a “flower” person. I am not that fond of flowers so I don’t anticipate getting one during special occasion. That is why when someone sends me flowers out of no reason, it really makes me excited. It doesn’t have to be ProFlowers wreathes as single stem, rose will do. Now that I am nearing my 30s, I am starting to appreciate the beauty in receiving flowers.

Baguio, here we come!

In two weeks time, my friends and I are going to Baguio. We’ve been dying to have this most-sought-after break. Things have become pretty toxic at work. So while searching for auto shop software, I am now also on the look for must-do things and must-see attractions at the summer capital of the Philippines. I just soOOo love the cold weather there. Can’t really wait for it

My Little School Boy

Few months back, I was so excited with the fact that my 3-year old sweet pea will start attending school. I even made him few name tags for his school things. But then I realized that maybe, he is still young to go to school. His body works in its own phase. He normally wakes up at 10 a.m. so he frequently missed class. That made us decide to drop him off from school. Maybe next year, he will be more prepared.

The previous country manager of my former company has finally decided to set up a company of his own. The company offers wide variety of service to small (and medium) size call centers ranging from payroll services to rank and file operations department position. In fact, he just buzzed over YM asking me if I know anyone who has experience as Technical Recruiter Consultant Jobs. Unfortunately, most of the people in my professional network are more of Operations rather than Recruitment specialty. So, if you know anyone who wants to apply as a technical recruiter consultant, please let me know so I can refer them to my previous boss.

On Baby Shower

One of my staff in the office is about to deliver her baby soon. Unfortunately though, she hasn’t had any ultrasound that revealed the gender of her sweet pea. I’ve been personally asking her about baby shower so that we can start sending out invitations to her friends. She is only 4 weeks on the way and I am not sure we can still come up with a baby shower considering that things have become pretty toxic at work. We can only pray for her safe deliver though.

Wrist Watch Mania

When I was still a teen ager, my fondest collection is of wrist watch. As far as I can remember, I have 14 wristwatches. I had Baby G, Bennetton, Swatch, Fendi, a few Casio model watches and a whole lot more. Most of my wristwatches though are from my elder sister. Every time I would get an academic recognition award, she just knows what she will give me. You could have mistaken her as a wrist watch dealer (more like of those casio dealers) as she would scour the malls of Hong Kong and Tokyo just to search for the funkiest wrist watches. Over a period of time though, I have began losing my collection. I just outgrew it. Now, I don’t even have a single wristwatch. I just rely on my cellphone clock. What a twist. LOL

On John Grisham

I am totally hooked with John Grisham’s pocketbooks. I just bought “The Associate” and oh man! That was one heck of a story. I was checking on his new book titled, “The Litigators” when suddenly, there came a pop up ad for golf course gps downloads. This got my curiosity but only for a second. I returned to my John Grisham phenomenon research and I can hardly wait for this book to be released. I think October 2011 is too long… excited much?!
